The Sheep Lady, 2020

Ongoing performance project in which The Sheep Lady uses material from her fieldwork into slaughterhouses and zoos combined with fictional elements. The performance shifts and transforms over time depending on the context and space it is developed in. It has been performed in intimate settings and during livestreams. The Sheep Lady is a concept derived from the artists relation to non-human animals as a child and the cultural phenomenon of the crazy cat lady as main inspiration sources.
